the first (and as of writing, only) vocal track i was confident enough to upload. made in colloboration with my sister, Kati, as i was bad at fleshing out my lyrics past the first verse.
this is a "love" song about a love i never experienced, with a girl who didn't really care (as far as i knew). a fantasy i projected in order to make myself feel a little better. while making the song, i showed it to her, and she did actually like it. i wonder if she knew?
the album art says '[demo 4]' , as this is just that- a demo. i trailed off and never finished the song, but on further reflection, i figured i should upload it, as i had spent a decent time working on it, and was relatively proud.
during production, the track originally had a baseline extremely close to Billie Eilish's 'Bad Guy', which i had to change after showing the track to several people- everyone mentioned the similarity. being unoriginal, i swapped out the baseline for one very similar to Ken Ashcorp's 'Absolute Territory', but everyone continued to say it sounded like 'Bad Guy'.
